Booking

A written/email confirmation is required to confirm the booking. The booking will remain valid for 7 days until the deposit is received.

Event Cancellation

If the order is cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice, the customer will be responsible for 100% of the bill
If the event is cancelled with less than one (1) week notice, but more than 24 hour notice, the customer will be responsible for 50% of the bill.

Disclaimer

Best Event Catering is a safe accredited caterer. As per Food Safety regulations, any food remaining after a function should be refrigerated immediately and consumed within 24 hours. We accept no responsibility for the safe handling and consumption of food once staff have departed.

Staffs services

Bar and Waiting staffs are available for a minimum 3 hrs per staff member (see rates in menus). We anticipate staff to commence and finish at allocated times. In the event that schedule times are outside of our control (e.g guests arriving late, lengthy speeches), there will be an extra charge per hour per staff member, for the extra time that the staff(s) remain

Responsible service of alcohol

In accordance with Liquor Licensing Act, our will refuse service of alcohol to people under the age of 18 and people who appear intoxicated. Identification must be presented when asked or staff will refuse to serve to that guest.

GST – All prices are quoted inclusive of 10% GST

PRICES

Due to seasonal or supplier shortages Best Event Catering reserve to alter menus and /or service pricing without notice.

Payment

A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking and is not refundable upon cancellation . All balance are “Strictly” due and payable five working prior to date of function.

Cheque payments must be received five working days prior to date of function or cash payments must be made. Cheques are payable to “Best Event Catering”.
